la joie de vivre

From California to Lyon, France: living & studying abroad…and coming back!

Bienvenue! :)

French Flags

The French flag: le drapeau tricolore

I started a blog :)

From what I have heard and read, French people really know how to live; <<la joie de vivre>> is a common French expression that means “the joy of living”. We’ll see just how differently life in France is from life in the United States!

My flight leaves for France on August 24th, and it arrives the next day in Lyon on August 25th.

This will be my first time to France (and out of the United States). Until then, I can post about stuff that I’ve read, heard, and seen, but things are going to be a lot different once I actually step off that plane in Lyon!
